A two-day, 20-hour immersion course in rules of engagement for armed law-abiding private citizens, emphasizing legal issues, tactical issues, and aftermath management. Topics will include interacting with suspects, witnesses, responding police officers … threat recognition and mind-set … management of social and psychological aftermath after having had to use lethal force in defense of self or others … and preparing beforehand for legal repercussions and minimizing exposure to them. Situations in the home, at the place of business, or 'on the street' will all be covered.

This is a rare opportunity to achieve personal training from a nationally recognized master firearms trainer and renowned expert witness in concealed carry and self-defense events. For Mas's bio visit: massadayoobgroup.com/who

COST: $400.

LOCATION: The class will be conducted at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Summerville – near I-26 Exit 199 at the intersection with US 17A. (Behind the Cracker Barrel).

PREREQUISITE: One of the following; Have a state issued CWP, FFL, be a PGC Club Member, Active/Retired Law Enforcement or Military or Bar Card for attorneys. Others may request a "background check" from a local sheriff and submit a copy of that in lieu of other credentials.

LODGING: For those interested, a block of rooms at the Wyndham Gardens Hotel has been set aside at $109 plus tax during this event – includes breakfast. Mention Palmetto Gun Club to access those rates. (843) 875-3300. This rate offer expires 12/27/2017.

First day class begins at 08:30 AM. On the first day, please arrive early enough to allow time to check in.

Water will be provided; other beverages you may wish to have are your responsibility.

There will be "a working lunch" both days – to maximize the use of classroom time – no time has been allocated to go out for lunch. You are encouraged to bring your own lunch. As an alternative, a local caterer will take individual orders mid-morning for a lunch time delivery.

The Hotel has a snack and beverage bar, and also serves breakfast earlier in the morning.

When accepted you will receive an Invoice for $400 from the Palmetto Gun Club treasurer – requesting that you pay the invoice on-line using a major credit card. After payment you will be e-mailed a Confirmation of your Seat in the class and any other information about the class. Enrolling is a two-step process – signup and pay. Please pay promptly when you receive your invoice to ensure you get a seat.

Note: The Wyndham has no policy on firearms, and thus concealed carry is permitted on their premises. Please maintain them concealed in holsters – there will be NO HANDLING OF LOADED FIREARMS – unless the situation warrants. (I would not want to be that bad guy!) There is a bar area on the premises, and concealed carry is permitted there too – UNLESS ONE IS CONSUMNG ALCOLHOL. So if you choose to have an adult beverage after class – make sure your firearm is not on your person.
